Terms of Service

The Service

Spending Tracker shows your bank accounts, balances and transactions in one place, sorts your spending into categories, and finds your recurring payments. It is a tool for information only: it is not a bank, it does not hold or move your money, and it does not give financial, tax, legal or investment advice.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and live in the United States. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Tell us right away if you think someone else used your account.

Connecting your banks

We use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting an account, you authorize Plaid to access your data at that institution and to share it with us, under Plaid's End User Privacy Policy (plaid.com/legal). Access is read-only: the Service can't make payments or transfers.

Data comes from your institutions and may be late, incomplete or wrong. Check important information with your institution before relying on it. You can disconnect a bank at any time from the app.

Free trial and subscription

New accounts get a 14-day free trial, without a payment card. After the trial, using the Service requires a subscription: $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year, plus any applicable sales tax.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app (Profile → Subscription); you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again. Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

Switching between the monthly and the yearly plan takes effect right away: we charge the new plan and credit what's left of the old one. We may change prices; we'll tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: don't access accounts that aren't yours, don't try to break or overload it, don't reverse engineer it, and don't use it for anything illegal.

Your data and our rights

Your financial data stays yours; our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. The Service itself, including its software and design, belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it while your account is in good standing.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account), or by writing to contact@datamindssolutionslc.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data from your institutions will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies; continuing to use the Service means you accept it.
